Confidentiality (again)

A blog silence for a couple of days while I was up in Blackpool at the BASHH Spring meeting to talk about confidentiality in adolescent sexual health services – something we flagged up a few weeks ago.

There’s a lot of concern in the air: several people came over afterwards to say that their authority had either stopped seeing under-13s altogether, or were considering doing so. I’d already heard exactly the same story from those who came to a Brook workshop a few weeks ago.

Still, worries aside, I had a lovely time in the excellent company of a thoroughly nice group of people, and I even got to hear the Mighty Wurlitzer!
